Nangalwala group was established in 1973 with manufacturing of Soap and trading of different Chemicals in Alwar, Rajasthan with limited resources. Company did very well with the business and expanded the supplies all over Rajasthan.

In 1979 seeing the limited scope of the chemical business due to high transportation cost, it expanded into Auto Cables, PVC Sleeve and Auto Electrical Parts & Accessories trading in Rajasthan and other North Indian States. In 1983, seeing the good scope in Auto Cable the company started manufacturing Auto Cable and market was expanded into South & West India with Replacement Market as major target.

Nangalwala was able to maintain good quality due to technical know how and commitment to quality. Its one of the promoters Mr. Subhash Agarwal (B.E. in Chemical, Mechanical from Pilani), who also had a vast experience as Plant Manager in Sri Ram Group, possessed required know how to manufacture PVC Compound. This gave the company Cutting Edge over most of the other PVC Cable suppliers.

After big success in Replacement market Nangalwala also moved on to Government Supplies. It became one of the leading suppliers to ASRTU (All – India State Road Transport Unit) supplying to many STU, DOT etc. Further, it expanded into OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) supply, supplying to Bus Body Builders, DG Set Mfrs., Electrical Appliance etc.

As the supplies grew, Nangalwala started facing problems related to purchase of Copper Wires. This motivated company to go for backward integration and it installed in-house Copper Drawing facility. This apart from solving quality and availability related problems also gave the company price advantage.

In 1990, seeing the vast scope in Wiring Harness and Battery Lead market the company started manufacturing Wiring Harness. Its experience with Auto Electrical Products also helped it to enter into this market with ease.

Company later in 2001 diversified and increased its range in Auto Electrical Parts and Accessories i.e. Lights, Mirrors, Bulbs etc. Later, to improve the quality it started getting most of these items manufactured on job work basis under its own quality supervision. Mr. Suresh Agarwal one of its promoters who had 15 years of experience in auto parts headed this venture of the company and company was able to include more that 1500 products in just 1-2 years.

Later in 2004 company started its R&D to develop Rubber Cable. After being successful in its R&D, in 2005 it started its manufacturing of Rubber Cable under expert guidance of Mr. Naresh Agarwal. This venture proved to be another turn around for the company and had earned a mushrooming growth of Rs. 400 Million in just 2 year.
